The 2nd Annual American Legion BBQ Cook Off

Funds raised will provide scholarships enabling high school juniors to attend Boys State and Girls
State leadership programs; designed to increase awareness and knowledge of government process
while learning the duties, privileges, rights and responsibilities of citizenship. Each year thousands of
these impressive youths attend this program throughout the United States.

Scholarship for the weeklong program, housing, meals and transportation provide this opportunity to
students identified by their schools as worthy participants. The American Legion selects the top
candidates to be delegates representing our local high schools.

$ 200 TRANSPORTATION SPONSOR ~ includes TWO tickets to this event, recognition as a

$ 500 FULL TUITION SPONSOR ~ includes FOUR tickets to this event, recognition as a
sponsor at the event – verbally and on the sponsorship display and website listing as a
sponsor, recognition at AL & ALA events.

$ 800 FULL RIDE SPONSOR ~ (tuition, registration fees, transportation fees + meals)
