Fellow Legionnaires of Post 862,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all the members of Post 862 – Saddleback Valley to Post 281. A decision has been made by District 29 to merge Post 862 into Post 281 to form a larger, combined Post in July 2022. In doing so Post 862 was closed effective July 1st.
I would like to extend to each of you an invitation to join our Post in the coming 2024 membership renewal process. You will have the opportunity to renew your membership with Post 281, when the membership renewal process begins in July 2023. As a point of reference, dues for Post 281 are $50.00 (same as what you are paying now). I encourage you to make Post 281 your new American Legion home.

To facilitate your membership renewal you may use the American Legion Member Data Form that is included on this webpage. Simply fill in the form for your name and membership number and check the box ” I would like to transfer to Post 281.
